Brad, why did you choose to establish a charter flight service in Coffs Harbour?<\/em><\/p>\n We presently do a lot of chartering out of Coffs Harbour, and although you seem to be over serviced with the commercial airlines, private and corporate charter offers specific times and destinations that the major airlines can\u2019t. Also, we are talking 5 star personalised service.<\/p>\n What planes do you have in your fleet?<\/em><\/p>\n We have a five seater Citation Jet, a six seater Citation jet and a Beechcraft Baron, a Piper Chieftan and our newest arrival, an eight seater turbo prop Cessna Conquest C441 \u2013 a plane almost as quick as the jets, but more economical.<\/p>\n Who travels on your charter planes?<\/em><\/p>\n Oh, anyone and everyone! Confidentiality prevents me naming names, but we carry politicians, sightseers, movie stars, celebrities, organ retrievals, and of late we have seen a real surge in business travellers.<\/p>\n Why is that? Isn\u2019t it expensive?<\/em><\/p>\n It\u2019s relative. You can travel five star on an hour\u2019s notice, and your times are flexible. Time is so valuable today, and family time is precious.<\/p>\n With our curfew-free status, what used to be an overnight stay can be turned into a day trip. This allows savings on accommodation, meals and staffing. There\u2019s no check-in hassle with our own private airport facilities and less \u2018down time\u2019 away from work. We are finding this especially valuable for groups attending trade fairs and industry conferences. This service will be particularly economical and beneficial for trips to Moree, Inverell and other North Western locations.<\/p>\n Dare we ask \u2013 how safe are these smaller planes?<\/em><\/p>\n The danger with private jet travel is that once you experience it, you will never be satisfied flying commercial again. Seriously though, I have been flying for 30 years and have one of the safest and most well maintained aircraft fleets flying in Australia today. I have personally recruited and oversee my fellow pilots, and our blemish-free record is testament alone of our CASA authorised safety.<\/p>\n What special tours are currently on offer?<\/em><\/p>\n We are presently promoting guided tours of Armidale\u2019s cool climate vineyards, either staying overnight at one of many beautiful B&Bs or returning the same day.<\/p>\n Do you have any other charter flight promotions coming up?<\/em><\/p>\n Yes, we\u2019re putting together some boutique tours \u2013 a night at the opera, a day at the races, shopping on Melbourne\u2019s High Street, a Melbourne Cup package, a day at the Hunter Valley gardens and wineries, and a girls\u2019 shopping day in Sydney with High Tea at the Hyatt.
